go by train: from The Hague Central take the 13:36 train (platform 4) arriving 13:56 in Gouda. The run is just outside the station at the end of the large parking on your left. The on on is just a 5 minutes walk - even after a few Winter Beers!
By car (not advisable since this is the Winter Beer Festival Run!): Take the A12 and exit just after the Gouwe aquaduct (Gouda Centrum). At the end of the exit turn right and continue straight through the next set of traffic lights. At the next set of traffic lights (McDonalds in front of you) turn left and continue until you see the railway station on your right. ·    From the Hague Central Station take the Bezuidenhoutse Weg North. At the large crossroads (2nd set of traffic lights I think) make a left turn into Laan van Nieuw Oostindie. At the next large junction (2nd set of traffic lights) make a right turn into Benoordenhoutse Weg direction Voorschoten, Leiden and Amsterdam. Follow this road, under the white bridge, pass the camera, the Shell garage on your right, two sets of traffic lights, another two cameras, all the way to the Den Deijl crossroads where you turn right for Voorschoten into the Pape Weg. Follow this road under the railway bridge (after several kilometers and no cameras). Take the first turning right after the bridge just opposite the Texaco garage into Rouboslaan. Park in the Railway car park on your right hand side about 200 meters down the road. I didn't measure it so that is approximate.

Sterrenbad in Wassenaar (Zanderijlaan 1).  Run start is the big field in front of the building.

 

By public transport:  - From Den Haag Centraal or Leiden Centraal take Bus #43.  Get off at the "Wassenaar Jonkerlaan" stop – it's just after Wassenaar centrum when coming from Leiden, or just after the Rijnlands school (and Sterrenbad) when coming from Den Haag.  Walk about 100 meters south along Prinsenweg and you'll see Sterrenbad on your right.

 

By car:  - From the South, take N44 north to the main Wassenaar/Voorschoten intersection and turn left towards Wassenaar-Centrum (onto Lange Kerkdam).  Go to the traffic circle (about 1/2 km) and turn left onto Prinsenweg.  Go about 3/4 km and you'll see the Sterrenbad on your right, next to a big green field.  Turn right onto Zanderijlaan to access the parking lot.

- From the North, take A44 south to the first traffic light (where it becomes N44) and turn right.  At the (almost immediate) traffic circle turn left onto Deijlerweg.  Go about 1 km to a traffic light and turn left onto Prinsenweg.  Go about 1 km (going straight thru a traffic circle) and you'll see Sterrenbad on your right, next to a big green field.  Turn right onto Zanderijlaan to access the parking lot.

 

Hare Notes:  Get your Irish on for DTH3's (Almost) St. Patrick Day's hash and help us bid farewell to Gangrene, Octopussy and gang as they get ready to skip off to Romania. Continue driving straight on from the viaduct through the B.M. Teldersweg and the Johan de Witlaan which merges into the Kennedylaan and then continues as the Sportlaan. Follow the Sportlaan straight all the way down to Kijkduin. When you reach the junction that goes right towards the resort of Kijkduin, turn left onto the Kijkduinsestraat which becomes the Lozerlaan. Follow the Kijkduinsestraat /Lozerlaan down until you see the signs for 'De Uithof' on the right hand side of the road. Turn right into the parking of 'De Uithof'

 

With public transport: take tram #6 from The Hague Central Station all the way to 'De Uithof' - the ice rink and sports centre. They say that it is also reachable with Randstad Rail #4 and bus 25, all stop at 'De Uithof'

From CS follow Bezuidenhoutseweg until entrance to A12, direction Utrecht. Stay right on the highway, direction Rotterdam A4. A4 will change into A13, stil heading for Rotterdam. As soon as you are on the A13 stay right and take exit Delft Noord, Nootdorp, Rijswijk Zuid. At the traffic lights turn left, go over the highway and turn left
( u'll see FORMIDO on the left), NOT all the way left otherwise you end up on the Highway again. Follow the road ( a big bend) for several kilometers and turn right at 2nd trafficlight, turn first left, cross the bridge and left again. This is van Oudheusdenlaan. Pray for a parkingspace.
 
Better find Rijswijkseweg, heading to highways. After crossing the Hoornbridge you turn leftish at 2nd trafficlight, heading for YPENBURG. Follow the road unter some artificials ( viaducts). After 2nd traffic light cross road and then turn left, cross the bridge and left  again.

By public transport: from Den Haag CS take a train (direction Gouda/Utrecht) and get off at Voorburg Station. By car turn right onto Bezuidenhoutsweg in the direction of Wassenaar. After less then 1km turn right onto Laan Van Nieuw Oost Indië in the direction of Voorburg. Go dead straight for 3km, note that once you go under the railway line the main road bears left. You have to do a little right turn at some traffic lights (opposite a Shell garage) in order to continue dead straight. The road name undergoes a subtle name change to something like Laan Van Nieuw Oost Indië (not a lot of difference!). Continue until the road meets the A12 motorway. Go straight ahead into a very little road and park in the car park under the motorway. Meet by the No.10 tram stop. By public transport: no.17 to Den Haag HS, No.10 to Voorburg Station. Note for the Station-challenged under us: Voorburg Station (not Leidschendam-Voorburg or the other one (Voorburg Het Loo or something like that))
